Over the past 50 years, interest in dog ownership, training, and competitions has surged, leading to heightened demand on Field Trial Clubs and Societies. Many owners now join dozens of clubs, with trial and test applications often exceeding 150 per event. While the Kennel Club regulates these activities, club secretaries handle the organisation, membership management, subscriptions, and updating websites—tasks which can be overwhelming, especially as many sites become outdated. Clubs use various methods (post, email, or web) to distribute schedules and forms, adding complexity for members. In response, the Field Trial Management System© was created out of necessity to streamline these processes using modern technology and the Internet.

Web Site Management
Have you thought of having the web site managed for you? All the hard work is done for you, the site is built to your current requirements and updated with all the latest information that you wish to post. You can either add or edit the pages yourself or we will do it for you – just email us with what you want to add, e.g. Trial and Test Schedules, Draw results, and more. FTMS© already manages the on-line entries to Trials and Tests, has a Membership system to manage your members, so it only seems logical to maintain your web site for you as well.
New Users
Once the Payment has been completed, you will be referred to the Registration process. Please note that registration may take up to 3 hours to process. You will receive an email once the process has been completed.
Annual Subscriptions
Subscriptions are due and will be charged on an annual basis. One Premium subscription for an individual user includes access to all Clubs and Societies, Trials and Tests. One Working Test subscription provides access to all Tests.
Subscription renewal
Once you have completed your registration, you will be automatically invited to renew your subscription on each anniversary of your registration.
Subscription levels
There are two options available:
Premium gives you access to all Clubs & Societies, Trials and Tests.
Working Test gives you access to all Clubs & Societies but is restricted to Working Tests only.

New Users
